Ride Overview - Denmark Isle Ride
A delightful horseback riding vacation in Denmark! You will enjoy riding on Romo, Denmark’s biggest Wadden Sea island. The island was created during the last ice age as a series of dunes that were blown into a vast sandbank. Your surefooted Icelandic horse will follow trails through pine forests, colorful heather, windswept dunes, little lakes and the widest beach in Northern Europe. You will stay at a comfortable 3 1/2 *** Hotel with a spa. Traditional seafood delicacies and beef are included in your meals. A true natural gem for both horse and rider!”Riding was awesome! RIDING IN DENMARK
“Lovely horses, very well behaved, the perfect horse for everybody, novice to experienced rider. You just need to know what to ask for. A fast horse IS a fast horse, but if you trust horses and guides, you’re up for the beach gallop of a lifetime! The scenery on Rømø is beautiful! Most of the rides led us through lovely sandy trails through the woods (plantage) or to the beaches. Highlight was the ride to Mandø and Koresand. Koresand especially is a once in a lifetime experience. Just sand and water and us and our horses for miles (and maybe some seals if you’re lucky!). Even on a slightly wet and foggy day the atmosphere on Koresand is amazing.” K.B. Germany

You will be transferred from the airport to your comfortable hotel.Day 2: Sunday
After you enjoy a welcome drink and a video on the Icelandic horse, you will ride for 2 hours across the SenderstrandDay 3: Monday
After breakfast, you will ride for 2 hours across the Kirkeby Planage. The region is most interesting because it conceals open areas with bogs, salt meadows and even a little idyllic forest lake, Hviddal Sø. The plantation is characterized by the harsh conditions for growth on the dune heath nearly a hundred years ago. The northern part of the forest features a firebreak with shabby, low oak trees, but otherwise, the forest is dominated by pine trees.Day 4: Tuesday
Today, you will enjoy an invigorating 3-hour ride across the vast Havsand Beach.Day 5: Wednesday
This is a non-riding day to enjoy the local tourist sites.Day 6: Thursday
