Ride Overview - Dressage Clinic With Olympic Silver Medalist, Rafael Soto
A rare dressage riding clinic with Rafael Soto in Spain! You will spend time with not only one of the world’s best dressage riders but also a gifted teacher. You will ride at a lovely 16th-century Hacienda near Seville. Your skills will be honed from group lessons and lungeing sessions with chief instructor Catalina Garcia Dow, BHSII, ABRSTC. You will then be prepared to work with Raphael privately at the end of the week. In addition, you will visit the Royal Spanish Riding School in Jerez and enjoy a dinner featuring a flamenco dancer. Ride Itinerary - Dressage Clinic With Olympic Silver Medalist, Rafael Soto
This is a seven nights, six day’s riding programme.Commencing Sunday after 4.00 P.M. and ending Sunday before 11.00 A.M.
The training consists of:
2 lunging sessions to improve classical seat
6 group lessons with our resident instructors
These lessons will determine the level and most suitable mount for maximum benefit during the 4 x 45 minute private sessions with Rafael Soto. Participants will also have the privilege of observing the lessons of the other riders.Non-riding Activities:
Visit to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art at Jerez de la Frontera.
Flamenco Show and dinner in Seville.
Conference with Rafael and staff, where progress will be discussed and all participants will be presented with a Diploma. -

Dates: February 14th – 21st, March 7th – 14th, November 7th – 14th, December 5th – 12th
Best months to ride: Northern Spain’s peak season is July and August. Central region: October – May. Southern: late spring – early autumn. Winter riding can be enjoy in the Andalusia because of the desert like climate.
