A delightful horsemanship riding vacation in Ireland! Tipperary is a charming rural county with mountains, rivers, lakes and farmland. Each day you will wake up to the sounds, smells and views of this nature in a lovely Gregorian country house. This B & B recognized by the Green Hospitality programme. Your itinerary will be customized based on your riding ability and your goals. These include basic equitation training, intermediate to advanced cross country jumping and relaxing trail rides. Your instructors will take the time to match you with an ideal horse. Although cross country is their specialty, you will find a venue to enjoy. This can be a gentle ride through the mystical Irish nature. For the more adventurous, there are gallops and a diverse range of cross country obstacles. To bolster your confidence, your introductory lesson will be in the arena.

The B & B consists of  8 different rooms – ensuite double rooms,  double rooms with a shared bath, and dorm-style shared rooms with shared accommodations. The house also has a living room, dining room, and staffed kitchen. Just beyond the house are the stables and grazing fields. Irish home cooked meals using local garden fresh produce begins and ends your day. You can make this a real Irish experience by visiting the impressive Rock of Cashel and the imposing 12th-century Cahir Castl which sits on an island in the River Suir. This is an exceptional horsemanship holiday!   RIDING IN IRELAND

“…..The first days we trained on the Crossogue terrain (could not believe the space and different jumps we had in front of us). The horses were well kept and happy. They are outside in a herd the whole year. Ideal! The training was also perfect. We really had the chance to build up our confidence (you know, the first day I walked around saying…I am never going to jump THAT!) and the next day I did (thank you Noel). All the people at Crossogue made sure that we would not be short of food and comfort. I would really recommend the experience!” L.D.
