Ride Overview - Mallorca/Majorca Sea and Mountain Ride
An invigorating horseback riding vacation in Mallorca! “A sky like turquoise, a sea like lapis lazuli, mountains like emerald, air like heaven.” quoted Frederic Chopin about this island. The largest Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea. The isle boasts sparkling sand beaches and five mountain ranges. This horseback riding trail will lead you from the sea to the top of mountains to enjoy wondrous views of waters below. Historically, the island has felt the influence of Roman, Christian, Moor and French. You will feel as if you stepped back into the times as your ride past great noble Majorcan grain field plantations. Historic monasteries are perched on impressive hills. The German-owned finca (stable/rustic style country Bed and Breakfast) is nestled in the idyllic Levante Hills. The stable is dedicated to the riding and breeding of spectacular Spanish horses and also offers dressage lessons on magnificent stallions. Just a 5-minute car ride to the town of Felanitx will bring you to one of the best traditional Sunday markets. This is a fast-paced ride. RIDING IN SPAIN
I loved all the rides and the views. The picnics were fun, they were so good after riding for 3 hours. Everybody was very nice and welcoming. Joe was very helpful, making sure we were all tacked up properly and had enough time to get organized and ready to ride. J.L.
